Kettler exercise bikes and Kettler ergometers are classic fitness machines for your home. The smooth rotation of the Kettler exercise bikes is easy on the joints and puts much less pressure on the knees than, for example, jogging does. Kettler exercise bikes already offer a good cardio-vascular workout for everybody.
Compared to Kettler exercise bikes Kettler ergometers, are electronically adjusted and stand out through precise load adjustment and a precise display. Braking system:
Simpler and older exercise bikes often just feature a band braking system where a plastic band slows down the flywheel while pedaling. This creates noises and results in an uneven rotation of the flywheel, which is why we do not recommend these models.
The Kettler exercise bikes that we offer here, all feature a high-quality magnetic braking system, where the flywhell is slowed down by magnets. Since there is no contact between flywheel and braking system, there are also hardly any noises and the rotation is very smooth and even.

Drivetrain:
The belt drive that is used in Kettler exercise bikes is much quieter than the chain drive that we know from bicycles and simple exercise bikes.

Training computer:
Increasing prices of the Kettler exercise bikes also means that you are getting a training computer with more functions. Flywheel mass:
The larger the flywheel mass of the exercise bike, the smoother and more evenly is the rotation of the machine.

Our recommendations: The models Kettler Topas exercise bike and Kettler Corsa 2005 exercise bike are models just for beginners with 6kg flywheel mass. However, they stand out significantly compared to the usual department store models with respect to quality and features.
For the ambitious beginner, we recommend the Kettler Golf 2005 exercise bike with 8kg flywheel mass (-> improved rotation that is easier on the joints), enhanced training computer and several features that make it more comfortable (horizontal seat adjustment, low access and higher load adjustment).
The Kettler Racer exercise bike is the ideal Kettler exercise bike for the ambitious cyclist; aside from a high flywheel mass and robustness, the Kettler Racer exercise bike bike offers a very high performance range due to its power magnets and ideal conditions for bad weather training due to the cycling geometry.
