Light Therapy
The sun supplies humans with light, heat and energy.
Humans already discovered the healing power of sun rays early in their history. Varied are the effects of light and its bearing on the way we arrange the day, the central nervous system and our hormonal balance. Other life processes also depend on it, e.g. sleep, digestion, metabolism. Light influences our performance and concentration. We blossom when the sun is shining brightly!
The skin is the body's largest organ by area. It has many functions. Thus it elastically surrounds our organic insides and isolates them from external influences. It is a sensory organ, plays a part in temperature regulation, influences the immune system and shapes our appearance. The skin is the mirror of our soul and often reacts to small changes of the whole organism (hormonal influences) or the environment (e.g. stress).
Modern light therapy has been dermatologically tested and has been approved for the treatment of various indications.
