Rowing Machines

Rowing, the effective cardiovascular training, strengthens the muscles and at the same time has a positive effect on the fat metabolism.
Simple rowing machines like the Kettler Cup and the Kettler Favorit use handlebars, the resistance is adjusted by hydraulic cylinders. The Kettler Kadett has an outrigger design which simulates the feel of "natural rowing" better than simpler rowers. Its resistance is also adjusted by hydraulic cylinders. "Better" rowers, such as the Kettler Coach LS for example, have a handle which is attached to a rope. The motion is very similar to that of rowing on water; rowing clubs use such kind of rowing machines. There, usually very sturdy and well equipped rowing machines such as the Concept2 rowing ergometer or a Waterrower are used. WaterRower rowing machines are our absolute top tip due to their combination of a classy design (different types of wood to choose from), a realistic rowing motion, a water flywheel resistance mechanism and outstanding quality; design and functionality in perfect harmony.
The Horizon Oxford prives the right "rowing feel" due to its tension control air resistance system: the resistance which increases as the speed increases simulates the rowing motion with great perfection.
