The Tanita BC571 body composition monitor uses the InnerScan concept and gives an insight into one's inner health.
The innovative Tanita BC571 body composition monitor not only measures muscle mass, body water and body fat but has many other exclusive functions.
When measuring the metabolism age, the basal metabolic rate is determined. The metabolic age rating indicates what age level the user's body is. If the indicated age is greater than the true age, the body analysis monitor will advise the user to do more exercise as to increase the basal metabolic rate. More exercise leads to the buildup of more muscle tissue and higher calorie consumption which in return leads to the metabolism age going down.
When measuring organ fat, solely the body fat which surrounds the vital organs in the torso/stomach area of the body is measured. It is important to keep an eye on this value; an increased organ fat value can lead to an increased risk of high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.
The Tanita BC571 body composition monitor, which has a straightforward LCD display and a 4-user memory, is suitable for children (from the age of 5) also. With the Tanita BC571 body composition monitor parents can detect whether or not their child's body fat percentage is within a healthy range.
