The TR70 also offers entertainment: Apps like Netflix or Twitter are already installed on the console for the quick access.

Advanced console with an outstanding programme diversion

The cardiostrong treadmill TR70i offers 58 programmes - there is something for every training level and every training target. The operation is quite simple: The programmes are structured into groups with exception to the manual programme, which is simply started with the START button:

Heart rate programmes

Certain training targets can be achieved more efficiently by means of controlling the training intensity via the heart rate. Here, the cardiostrong treadmill TR70i offers two programmes with two training modes each. Either your heart rate is kept constant by adjusting speed or incline - or you set the heart rate interval programme. Here, the phases of higher load alternate with phases of a lower load. The console adjusts speed and incline so that you achieve the set heart rate.

Virtual track videos

Six "Virtual simulations" videos are pre-installed on the console. These are shot running tracks, which you can watch on the screen while exercising. During the training, you can change the speed or the incline with the arrow buttons or the hot keys at any time. The running track videos respond to your setting. When you change the speed on your treadmill, the playing speed of the video changes as well.

Running competitions

Compete against computer opponents on different terrains using these 12 competition programmes. The competitions are a great, motivating diversion for your training.

Profile programmes

All in all, 17 pre-defined profile programmes are available, which differ in duration, intensities, and the changes of intensity. Using this programme selection, you can decide whether the change of intensity should be done due to a change of incline or a change of speed.

User-defined running programmes

You can programme individually up to 20 user programmes. The programmes include several segments and you can determine the preferred incline and speed for every segment. Save the programme so you can call it again and again.

Manual mode – Work out whenever you want

The easiest mode of the cardiostrong treadmill TR70i is the manual mode: Press START in the main menu and you can start straight away. However, easy does not mean that your training cannot be created in a diversified way. You control the training at any time - all values are clearly shown on the big display and you can quickly change the settings using the hot keys.

Excellent motor output and a very big running surface

The cardiostrong treadmill TR70i is equipped with a strong 3 HP DC motor. It accelerates the treadmill evenly and keeps the speed absolutely constant even at high intensities. The speed is very evenly, linearly adjusted even at high changes of speed. The treadmill offers you top speed up to 20 km/h. The running surface is very big so you can exhaust it with a good and safe feeling and experience.

Easy assembly and handling

Even before and after the training, the cardiostrong treadmill TR70i offers all kinds of conveniences. The assembly only takes four steps, requires only two people, and can be done within half an hour. The running surface can be folded up after training thanks to a smart folding mechanism. The treadmill can be easily moved after the training thanks to the transport wheels.

Good product. Good value for money balance. High stability even on high speed. Screen much quality than other brands. Overall strongly advice this model.

It is really good, however after using for 1.5 months there are a few drawbacks: - The "speed -" button on right handle has a defect, but hopefully this fill be resolved as the appointment with repairman is scheduled. - The plastic motor cover creaks of metal parts when running (started after two weeks of usage). You... [Read more] have either to tighten screws every day to prevent this or have a makeshift laying between those parts. - The programming abilities are pretty limited. Basically whole run is divided into 20 equal parts and you set speed/inclination for every part. For example if your whole program is 30 minutes long, you cannot set 1-minute walk and 2-minute run, only multiples of 1.5 minutes. - Pre-defined programs are also pretty useless, and it's hard to guess what they actually do. So, only usable in manual mode. - The manual was for older model and in German. It would be nice if there were pdf versions of manual online, as apparently support has those (they sent manual in English to me upon request). - Phone application is really bad and buggy (but not really needed) - I wasn't able to make chest strap work, but even if I did it takes quite long to put on, so most people won't bother to use it anyway. - When the treadmill is stopped by pulling the emergency rope, it resets all settings rather then being simply paused. Quite annoying when you do that accidentally. - Buttons are a bit hard to press. - It has a EU plug even when ordered from Switzerland, so you have to change a wire! Also it is 13A device, so doesn't work with ordinary 10A Swiss power outlets. - As the treadmill is pretty light, tablet can jump off the tablet holder while running. :) Rubber band helps with that. Other then that, it's ok. :) I would surely buy it again. Works well, pretty robust. The motor is quiet. It's pretty light model, so you need to use thick mat for step vibration insulation. The display is very bright and easy to read. [Show less]
