Christmas days are coming. In case you are still looking for Christmas gifts, it is time to hurry up.

Christmas is the time to celebrate love and family. You come together, eat, drink and spend some pleasant hourse with each other. Does anybody think about sports in such times ?

When you do some easy exercises during Christmas, you keep in shape and do not have to start from scratch. Use our - more or less serious - exercises as an opportunity to keep an eye on your fitness workout during Christmas time.

Gift lunge

Stand with feet hip-width apart on the floor. Take a gift and hold it with stretched arms above your head. Start with the right leg and do a lunge forwards. Please mind that the gift is held above your head and the knee is kept behind the tiptoe. Slightly touch the floor with the rear knee. Then bring the right foot back to the left one. Change feet.
Advice: Please mind a stable stand for fragile gifts while doing the exercise.

Gift pelvis lifting

Grasp with both hands the gift on the floor in front of you in squat position with feet shoulder-width apart. Slowly lift it with stretched arms above your head and do a complete body stretching (knees, hips, arms). The parcel is at maximum height at the end. Do the motion downwards in reverse with straight back.
Advice: Valuable/fragile gifts should not be used, because it can slip out of one's hands for too much sweep.

Gift lateral bending

Stand with feet hip-width apart on a stable underground. Take a gift in one hand with stretched arm. Slowly start bending to the side of the torso. Please mind that the pelvis is kept stable and you do not move forwards or backwards.
Advice: The degree of difficulty can be varied by the weight of the gift.

Gift sit-ups

Lay down on the floor with your back. Knees are bent and heels stand on the floor. Hold the gift with stretched arms behind your head. Tense abdominal muscles, slowly roll your torso and bring the gift with stretched arms forwards.
Advice. The degree of difficulty can be varied by the weight of the gift.

Christmas tree jumping

Place the tree on the floor and estimate your takeoff power. Stand in front of the tree and jump over it at the position where it is possible for you. Take a swing with your arms and push with power with both feet upwards. Then come down with both feet on the other side at the same time - without touching the tree.
Advice: Blow out the burning candle lights, before putting the tree on the floor.

Run around the Christmas tree

Stand with shoulder axis vertically to the tree. Start slow jogging and walk round the tree several times. Then accelerate your pace.
Advice: Wear tight clothing to avoid getting caught on the branches of the tree.

Tree press

Stand stable, upright with feet placed hip-width apart and lift the tree over your head and hold it with bent arms. Tense trunk muscles and press slowly the tree upwards by stretching your arms. Avoid complete stretching in elbow joints.
Advice: It is recommended to wear gloves when you use real coniferes.
