The smell isn't bad like some others have said and they do retain the marks from the bench, stand, weight, etc but they do a fine job of protecting the floor. No complaints at all for these!

Buying my second set of these for use under a treadmill. Quick delivery and easy to assemble. Note that it does get dents if weights are placed on it so does not always bounce back. But works a charm to myffle noise if you use another harder layer on top.

Very solid surface that does the job, but it is a shame that these mats are not made to be more flexible in their sizing as it is difficult to get the sizing right for some machines, such as the Taurus Bio Force Multi Gym.
