Description: PowerDot Muscle stimulator
With the super light pods from PowerDot you will always have your personal trainer and physiotherapist by your side – no matter where you are.
How does electrostimulation work
Electro muscle stimulation (short: EMS) is becoming more and more common. The PowerDot simulates the muscle contraction processes that the brain normally controls. Unlike the processes from the brain, where the tension of the muscles goes through the nerve fibers, the PowerDot places the tension straight on the motor nerve. This type of stimulation has many advantages: muscle tensions can be released, muscles can be strengthened, muscle pain can be reduced or EMS can be used for relaxation through a massage function.
PowerDot of course only works with trusted components that give low frequency impulses that give neuromuscular stimulation.
Wireless technology offers a new level of comfort
The PowerDot is different from previous EMS devices as it is completely wireless and is controlled through a smartphone app. The smartphone and the PowerDot are connected via Bluetooth. This has many advantages, as it makes EMS training uncomplicated and it's possible to do at any time – just put the electrodes in place and begin. The electrodes are so thin that you can even have them on under a T-shirt. Practical push buttons and short cables allow for fast and easy connection of the electrodes to the body!
Different programs for different uses
The PowerDot App shows you every step of the training – from the placement of the electrodes to the workout. You can chose between three categories (performance, recovery and wellness) and in total 10 programs (muscle endurance, strength endurance, resistance, strength, explosive strength, light recovery, active recovery, extended recovery, warm up, massage) – you can train or relax up to 20 muscle groups. The app is constantly being updated and is always up to date with new releases.
