Rowing with water resistance

The core of the WaterRower rowing machine is the water tank with the patented ergonomically formed water paddle. Based on rowing in nature you can feel in each row a soft and extremely realistic pull. The intensity is increased the harder you pull.

S4 performance monitor

The S4-performance monitor was especially designed with rowing training in mind. It clearly shows all important training data: Amount of rows, Total Time and per 500m/2.000m, Watts, Calories burnt, Distance, Zone training and more. You can set your individual rowing workout through the selection function.

Confortable sliding seat

The ergonomically formed seat slides almost silently over the two rails during training, thanks to the ballbearing rollers made out of wear-free plastic. Optionally you can upgrade the seat with the WaterRower gel seat cover.

Foot pads just like in a rowboat

The foot pads, fully made out of durable wood, can be adjusted to perfectly fit your shoe size. The adjustment straps provide a secure hold during your rowing workout. Your foot pads are located next to each other for the optimal training position.

Massive rails

Even tall people can comfortably train on a WaterRower rowing machine thanks to the long slide rails. When needed there are also wooden frames in XL size available for users over 2m tall. Don't hesitate to contact us if you want these rails.

Storage space taking up only 50cm x 56cm

The WaterRower rowering machine can be space savingly stored away. The rowing machine can just be stood up out of the way. That decreases the space dimensions of the WaterRower to 50cm x 56cm between training sessions - a big advantage for use at home.

Resistance is produced by a water wheel: the stronger the stroke, the higher gets the resistance. The actual dynamic of rowing is ideally reproduced. The increase in intensity depends upon speed and you determine naturally and individually the pace. The basic resistance is infinitely variable via the quantity of water filled in!

Advantages of water resistance

Experience an authentic rowing feeling with water resistance. The rowing movement is faithfully simulated just like in nature. When the paddle moves in the water tank you can feel the water element and even hear the queit splashing of water – a pleasant sound that also relaxes the senses.

The rowing movement is comfortable and even, without overloading the spine. Just like "real" rowing the resistance is automatically adjusts by how hard you pull in your row: increasing your power will increase the resistance. We-Row offers you the possibility to evaluate and improve your fitness program. You can also participate in a race against other rowers or against your personal best time. Your rowing date would be saved in the databank and can be accessed at all times. Use of the software is very intuitive so that you can immeadiately start without any problems.

Leichter Zusammenbau, gut verarbeitet und zuverlässiger Versand. So wünscht man sich das als Kunde, alles perfekt gelaufen. Trainiere jeden Tag 5-7 km, mal sehen wie lang es hält. Verarbeitung hält deutschen Qualitätsansprüchen absolut Stand.

Zusammenbau gut erklärt, problemlos. Stabile massive Konstruktion, Holzfinish etwas grob. Platzsparend aufzuräumen, angenehm leise. Tolles Trainingsgerät. In Verbindung mit Com-Modul und WaterrowerConnect perfekt. Sehr gute Beratung bei Sport Tiedje in Stuttgart.

Sehr gute Qualität, leichter Aufbau! Der Waterrower ist sein Geld wert. Top Service von Sport Tiedje. Durch Corona kam es zu Lieferverzögerung, aber als Kundin wurde ich immer über den aktuellen Stand informiert.

Wunderschönes Design, tolle Verarbeitung, sehr gute Montageanleitung. Das Rudern ist sehr authentisch durch den Wasserantrieb, es macht viel Spaß, ist sehr effektiv und gleichzeitig fast meditativ durch das gleichmäßige Wasserrauschen. Eine gute Entscheidung die ich nur weitergeben kann.

Wir sind von dem WaterRower positiv überrascht. Er ist qualitativ hochwertig ausgelegt, macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck und ist gleichzeitig ein tolles Möbelstück. Der Aufbau ist logisch Schritt für Schritt erklärt und für jeden zu bewerkstelligen. Der Trainingscomputer bietet verschiedene Einstellmöglichkeiten, wobei die Handhabung etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist. Das Trainieren im Zusammenspiel mit dem entstehenden Wassergeräusch wirkt sehr realistisch und ist sehr angenehm, man kann problemlos neben dem Fernsehschauen trainieren. Die mitgelieferte Wasserpumpe, die das Befüllen erleichtern soll, funktioniert nur dürftig. Bei der Lieferung liegen auch 2 Chlortabletten, eine englischsprachige DVD über Montage, Befüllung und Hinweise über richtiges Training, sowie ein USB-Kabel bei. Martin Wiese, Chirurg und Arzt meines Vertrauens, hat mir als Rudergerät den Water Rower empfohlen - und die Empfehlung war goldrichtig. Ein gutes Gefühl das Ding zu benutzen, fast so wie auf dem See in Finnland vor 45 Jahren. Das einzige was wirklich fehlt ist die tolle Landschaft. Und dass dass Ding aus Eiche und nicht wie auf der Internetseite aus Esche besteht mindert in keiner Weise das Aussehen und erst recht nicht den Fez, den man damit hat. Alles in Allem: Gute Sache, das!

Meine Frau und ich haben den Waterrower bei Freunden ausprobiert und waren von der Konstruktion und Funktion begeistert. Also noch eine kompetente Beratung über Alternativen bei Tiedje, die zum Kauf des Gerätes führte. Da das Modell in Eiche auf Lager war, konnten wir bereits nach einer Woche das erste der beiden Pakete in Empfang nehmen. Das zweite Paket wurde am nächsten Tag geliefert. Die Montage war in etwas mehr als einer halben Stunde gelungen, da die Anleitung dies gut erklärt. Wir sind weiterhin von der Optik des Rower begeistert. Das Training mit dem Gerät macht großen Spaß. Außer dem Plätschern des Wassertanks macht der Rower keine Geräusche. Wir können das Gerät mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.... [Read more]
